With the conventional, simplistic design of a traditional hexagon, the Merola Tile Textile Hex Black 8-5/8 in. x 9-7/8 in. Porcelain Floor and Wall Tile offers the versatility to blend into any décor. The matte satin muted black glaze helps transform any setting ranging from historical renovations to new construction. This classic hexagon has a high skid resistance and durability rating, making it an excellent choice for most interior and exterior installations including kitchens, showers, bathrooms, foyers and patios. Available in silver and white color options as well, this tile is great for mixing with these other colors or using alone as a cohesive look.

- Grade 1, first-quality porcelain tile for floor and wall use
- 8.63 in. width x 9.88 in. length x 0.41 in. thick
- Glazed slightly textured finish with a low sheen and uniform appearance in tone
- P.E.I. Rating III is suitable for medium-duty residential floors including kitchens, halls, corridors, balconies, terraces and areas used more often with normal footwear and small amounts of dirt
- Impervious flooring has water absorption of less than 0.5% for indoor and outdoor use and is frost resistant
- C.O.F. greater than .50 is recommended for standard residential applications and is marginally skid resistant. Indoor use

If you are going to splurge on a feature in a room, THIS is the way to go. Because it is such a geometric statement, you can keep the walls, etc. simple and clean.
I was completely thrilled and satisfied with the outcome.
I had it shipped to the store and there were no breakages/scratches.

I ordered this tile because somewhere in the product summary...I ordered this tile because somewhere in the product summary or ratings, it said it would be fine to use in wet areas. It is not. Although the finish is matte, it does NOT have texture and would be too slippery to use in a shower pan or floor that gets wet often.
