This Stair Nose molding provides a finished look by completing the change from wood flooring to a top stair step. This unfinished stair nose molding may be stained or painted to suite your needs and is designed for use with 3/4 in. thick flooring. Attach moldings to wood sub floors using countersunk nails and finish with putty. Adhere moldings to concrete sub floors using construction adhesive.

Great pricing!I read the reviews and checked prices at other stores and websites (including Lowes). This was the best deal of all. I applied construction adhesive to bond the bullnose to the roughed-in stairway I found under my existing carpet. (I was replacing a carpeted stairway with red oak.) One strip was long enough for two landings - about 33" wide each. The T/G flooring I bought matched the groove in the bullnose perfectly! Hard to see transition from bullnose to flooring in photo.

ExcellentWe live way out in the country, not near to ANY Home Depot stores. We were able to order this piece on-line and have it delivered to our door in very short order. We love the ability to order MANY things, including appliances, on-line and have them delivered right to us without our having to drive a few hours. We were able to stain and poly this piece of trim and it matched the stair treads we bought PERFECTLY!

Couldn't be usedOrdered two pieces for stair landing project.
One piece too scratched, dented and wood knotted to use. Two large wood knots. Centers crumbled and fell out.
