Don’t have it shipped
Package arrived 5 days earlier than expected. For that I was very excited. There was no visible damage to the packages. No dents or torn cardboard. I was delighted. When I opened the packages I found every board unsuitable. Many places on the top edge everyone will see were pounded in, dented and chipped. The ends were also in bad shape. Many scratches on the front and even some green paint smudges on three of the boards. I ordered 22 knowing I didn’t need that many but so glad I did. I had to cut out so many bad places on the boards that my base boards don’t look as seamless as they should. I also couldn’t do my dining room as planned since I had to salvage what I could just to do the living room. For those of you thinking this was the shippers fault, beware it was not. The packaging was great. Even bubble wrapped. Someone Chose some of the worst, shop worn boards together and shipped them out. I am so disgusted knowing someone did this to us. I will never have anything shipped by home depot again. These baseboards were not available in any of the stores within a 200 mile radius. I had no choice but to order what we wanted. My husband wanted to return them. I wanted the job done. Too mad to take them into a store and have some clerk think we destroyed the baseboards. Shame on you Home Depot. If you can’t provide quality products don’t offer the shipping.
If the product arrived in good shape I would recommend these baseboards. Easy to cut easy to install and I believe they would have looked beautiful if we had been sent good product.

The product was a slightly high for the wall but nonetheless it came out very nice, I did not add...The product was a slightly high for the wall but nonetheless it came out very nice, I did not add the round edge because it would mean FURNITURE NOT being able to be placed up right against wall. It would have essentially close up room with the round added so I left that out. Still came out stellar! It really FINISHED the room and the look to my satisfaction which is all that matters.

I was reasonably pleased with this until I noticed this morning that the white paper covering was...I was reasonably pleased with this until I noticed this morning that the white paper covering was becoming detached along the edges. In one case, this is causing rippling, while in another, it has created a visible gap between the board and the paper.
