Wire Brushed Strand Woven Solid Bamboo Flooring is favorable for its extreme hardness and durability. It's the perfect choice for residential use. The prefinished flooring has a 7-layer Aluminum Oxide Finish providing protection from every day wear. This product has achieved GREENGUARD Indoor Air Quality Certification and has been tested for more than 10,000 volatile organic compounds, including formaldehyde, to meet these standards. The tongue and groove profile allows the flooring to be installed on and above grade. The style flooring is perfect for modern, traditional and transitional interiors. An existing home should have a consistent room temperature of 65°F - 75°F and relative humidity (RH) of 40% - 55%. Continual deviation from these conditions will affect the dimensions of flooring (see installation guide for more details).

The board dimensions are spot on and the color is very consistent between boxes. One surprise is that the texture is not exactly the same on every board. Because the product is "engineered" my expectation was that each board would look exactly the same. In reality, there is some variation in appearance which I think gives it character and enhances the appearance because it looks like real wood. My evaluation of it's performance is not relative because I'm using it as a ceiling rather than a floor. As such, it just has to look good...which it does! The only thing I don't like is that the ends split easily regardless of whether I use staples or brads. Clearly not an issue if it's being used as a floor and glued per the manufacturers recommendations.

It is a rich dark espresso-type color. It feels rich and firm underfoot. It is glue installation only though...This may have caused me an issue, but I am still evaluating.
As mentioned in other reviews, it does show dust, lint, fur etc. But I will say that my swiffer handles this beautifully.

It has the perfect divets and texture. I was very disappointed in the process of laying it down. The floorong was poorly cut. There were a lot of bad pieces in the box as well. I ended up taking the flooring back.
