Pro Sound is a sound control underlayment and crack isolation membrane. It's 130 mil internally reinforced Peel and Stick membrane was designed for thin set installations of ceramic, porcelain and natural stone tiles. This membrane underlayment provides moisture vapor emission rate and the added microbials minimize mold and mildew growth. Due to the very high natural/SBS rubber content and its exclusive non-woven poly propylene fabric construction, alkalinity in mortars are prevented from breaking down the system. This combination of materials also adds the strength to withstand horizontal structural movement and concrete shrinkage cracks (up to 3/8 in.), preventing the transfer of stress load to the tile which can lead to cracked and broken tiles.

Exactly what we needed. Good cushion. Used it in our RV under new vinyl flooring. Very heavy as delivered, so need to make sure you catch the delivery guy so you don't have to move it off the porch.
