My previous tile cutter was one of those $25 ones, so I had high hopes when I spent the money to ...My previous tile cutter was one of those $25 ones, so I had high hopes when I spent the money to upgrade to this cutter. I have not been disappointed! I've used it for one job so far - wall tile for a shower - and I am very happy I spent the money on it. The handle glides very easily and the cutter does an excellent job scoring evenly and snapping the tile. The on-board top ruler is spot on with the measurements and made easy work for repeat cuts. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Versatile and Precise CutsThe best tile cutter for the money! Very easy to use and built sturdy. So many features and details that allow for precise cuts. The cutter can handle tile up to 24" wide. Larger tiles can be supported by the fully adjustable extension arms on both sides of the aluminum alloy base. The padded extension arms adjust to any angle which came in really handle when I had some odd sized tiles. I was able to adjust the arms to different angles to support the tile. There's an adjustable edge guide with preset rulers and angles to make alignment easy. The angle guide goes up to 60 degrees and adjusts easily by loosening and tightening one lever. Centering the cut is very easy as well when you use the 2 different rulers on the cutter. One ruler is along the top of the table's tile edge guide. The second ruler is along the sliding angle arm. Measure twice - cut once. Always perfect! The base is very stable and includes rubber feet. The handle is comfortable and the perfect size for a firm grip. Scoring the tile doesn't take much pressure. They recommend medium pressure but I find a light scoring did the trick. I've used it to cut small tile to large tile and its been spot on. The edges are clean, precise and even. The pre-set angles are spot on right out of the box. The cutter glides easily over the 2 chrome-plated rails due to the ball bearings. Low maintenance too. No oil required on the bearings or bars. One small complaint, the instructions don't tell you how to adjust the cutting wheel height or how to remove it. Otherwise, huge time-saver next to a tile saw and amazingly precise!

Best tile cutter - bar noneI've owned several tile cutters and this one is by far the best. Every cut is clean and precise from the first cut to the last. Other cutters chip after a while and then fracture the cut. One of the differences is the retractable cutting wheel. Extend to score the tile and then retract when breaking the tile - this keeps the scoring wheel in perfect shape. Additionally the entire construction is very solid, the base, the handle, and the rails. It obviously costs more than the budget cutters, but you won't have to run to the store to replace it and if you do more than 2-3 jobs with it, it pays for itself over renting a similar quality tool.

Move Over New FloorWe were looking to replace the kitchen floor with something more durable than the peel and stick the house came with. After searching for the right color, installing the tile came next and I needed a tile saw I felt comfortable with and knew could handle the job. This saw made cutting the larger pieces of tile much easier, and its over all size makes it easily portable. It has the quality and presentation of being a big heavy tile cutting machine but is light in weight and still brings the force.

Great Cutter - Feels SolidI'm very happy with this saw. It has a very solid feel to it, and cuts straight. It also has some arms that come out and support the tile. I've used it on quite a few jobs already and haven't had any problems.
