Worth Every Penny
My first time doing tile I used a wet saw for everything. It was 400+ square feet with lots of straight cuts and quite a few notched cuts too. It was borrowed from a friend and it worked well. Precise cuts and clean edges. But it was very time consuming and dirty. After using this score and snap cutter, I feel like I was in the stone age with the wet saw. This tool saved me hours of cutting and it was really easy to use. It was about 350 square feet of tile. I used the wood look 6" x 24" porcelain from Home Depot. Even long ways the score and snap worked well. It took some getting used to, but after a few breaks it is easy. I wouldn't expect a good clean break under about 1.5 inches if you are breaking 24" tile. I was able to get down to about a 1/2" break in the 6" direction though. Between this and a diamond tile blade on my angle grinder, I was able to do the whole job without opening the wet saw I bought just in case. Any cuts around corners or the toilet were easily done with the angle grinder. It didn't give the nice finish a wet saw would, but those edges are covered up. Another benefit of the snapper is you can use it with almost no mess right where you are doing the job. All said and done, I wouldn't do another tile job without this tool, and the QEP 35" did the job nicely and was a great value. There may be reasons for buying a more expensive one if you use it professionally, but for the DIYer I can't think of anything it lacked or any reason to pay more for a different brand.
A couple tips:
Read the directions if you haven't used a snapper before. I grabbed some extra tile and just started to try it out and it wasn't breaking as easily as it should. I didn't realize you are supposed to snap the tile from the end, not the middle of the tile.
Buy an extra blade. I bought an extra blade just in case and didn't need it. But you wouldn't want to be in the middle of laying tile and break a blade without a back up.

Somewhat works....
Bought this tile cutter to cut my 13 inch porcelain tile on the diagonal. Due to the highly irregular surface of my tile, this cutter couldn't effective score the tile. I ended up wasting too many tiles. Ended up getting a wet saw instead. This cutter should only be used on smooth surfaced tile.

Excellent bang for the buck.
I tiled a big bathroom with 1 ft x 2 ft tiles and this tool saved me a lot of time and headaches. It's huge! You only realize how big it is and how big of a tile can cut when you take it out of the box.

Worth every penny and some!
the cutter came early and the box was very beat up. thank goodness it was all intact and no damage.I used the cutter to install 1300 square feet of 20 inch porcelain tile...to get started with the machine, the blade did not hit along the center as typical of Qep machines (ive had 3 0r 4) but off to the right near foam cushion but once we figured that out it was great. My cousin even purchased one for himself after he used mine. this machine is huge and you can't imagine how big until you see it in person. Of all the machines that I have owned this one has all the best parts from the bigger ones but cost half the money.

I am very satisfied with this tile score and snap...
I am very satisfied with this tile score and snap tool. I will say, I recommend just breaking the tiles by hand rather than using the bar if the tiles are kind of thin -- a couple of tiles broke badly trying to use the bar on thinner ceramic tiles. On thicker ceramic tiles, you can use the bar.
