It nicely padded up the carpet remnant that I was using for my little granddaughter, who is learning how to crawl and pull up on things. I had recently removed the carpet from my living room and put down very thin TrafficMASTER Peel & Stick Vinyl Planks directly on my concrete floor. It was extremely hard, and I was very worried about her falling and cracking her head or skull open on the hard floor. The only reason I am giving it a 3 Star Instead of a 5 Star Rating is that it was not the size that it said it was supposed to be. Instead of being a 6 x 8 as advertised, it was more like a 6 x 6'ish. I was very disappointed in that part because my carpet remnant is bigger than 6 x 6. We live an hour away and work full time, so returning it wasn't a good option for us. So, as far as the padding rating, I would give it a 5, but as far as the advertised size & the actual size, I would have to give it a 3. The price wouldn't be bad IF it was the size it was advertised to be. If they would send me another one that is the right size, I could return the other one and then could give a 5 Star Rating to the new one.

Actual size was 10 inches short of the eight foot...Actual size was 10 inches short of the eight foot stated on the product, I purchased two for a rug pad so I was required to cut off the right sized pad to match the shorter pad resulting less pad on both pieces. I guess I could have returned the shorted pad but time effort required was a detriment.
