Bring unique vintage accents to your home with the Merola Tile Alaska Craquelle Gris Mix 3 in. x 12 in. Ceramic Wall Tile. This high sheen tile features a crackle glaze which adds subtle appeal. The tile color mix ranges from cool light greys to soft whites and medium greys, for a monochromatic overtone. Receiving approximately 1-1/3 square foot (5-7 tiles) of each color per pack, it is easy to create a structured coloration or random appearance. Use this subway tile alongside many different products, including those in the Antic series. It is necessary that you seal this tile before grouting to prevent the absorption of staining agents over time.

Great look, easy to cut
My wife and I spent the better part of a year casually looking for the perfect tile so that we could finish our kitchen remodel project (the backsplash being the final piece). We finally ordered a box of this, gave it a look, and then ordered 10 more boxes to actually do the project. The tile comes in three shades: white (not very bright), medium grey, and dark grey. It cuts very easily, even when doing multiple cuts in the same piece to work around trim and things of that nature. This was my first backsplash experience, and first time cutting tile, and I didn't lose a single piece to cutting splits/cracks. I assembled the tiles in thirds, as opposed to halves (as shown in the website picture), and it turned amazing and had a great, slightly more "random" appearance than it would have. (If this third vs half convey doesn't make sense, just look at my pictures) All-in-all, great-looking, easy to work with tile, and a very reasonable price. No complaints whatsoever.
