Be aware - this product comes in 3 shades (a darker color (like sample in picture, more grayish),...
Be aware - this product comes in 3 shades (a darker color (like sample in picture, more grayish), a medium color (gray and tannish), and a lighter (tannish) color) -- we like the 3 variations, if all had been color of sample, it would have been too dark. So we stacked the planks according to their color (see picture), and then laid out a design based on that. We already did a small area by back door (approx 5' x 4'; used 7 planks) and so far it is good, but only been down one week. We just started on dining room yesterday (of course takes a while to pull up carpet, pad, staples and clean). First row my husband had to do two cuts around a sliding glass door frame, so that was a bit of a pain getting it right, but the other rows should go down much easier. So far we like the color and texture. Researching how to clean (mop, vacuum with no beater bar, etc) and what type area rugs we can put down. This will be so much nicer than the old carpeting we've had in these rooms. Next, living room and then hallway.
