This tile has a lot more gray splattered through it than the images show. In person, it looks like mortar smeared across it or dirt. The good news is the tile will not show dirt as well because it already looks permanently dirty. It is moderately sturdy, of 13 boxes, an entire box arrived broken.

Great looking tileThis tile was used to for a custom shower surround and seat above existing tiles to upgrade a very small bathroom (about 5' x 8'), built in the 1920s.
The tiles are very easy to work with (no spoilage). With no spoilage I used the remaing tiles on the floor of a small powder room (about 4' 4" x 4' 6").
These tiles clean up very easily. I just spray with lysol and wipe with a sponge.
Friends and neighbors have commented on how good they look.

Bought six boxes to be installed by Home Depot contractor. When the contractor was in the middle...Bought six boxes to be installed by Home Depot contractor. When the contractor was in the middle of the project he pointed out that there was some minor size variation from tile to tile as we could see the border lines weren't completely straight, yet the tile spacers were well placed. Then after the contractor was nearly finished, he gave me some paper work to sign which included a sheet that said that the contractor was not responsible for color or size variation in the tiles. Then I carefully inspected the work and noticed that there were about 7-8 tiles that are about 2 shades lighter and bluer than the other 60+ tiles. Could tell they came from the same box since they were installed next to each other. All the boxes were labled the same. Both the contractor and I should have inspected each tile in each box before installation started.

Inconsistent Tile SizePro's - Looks nice. Tile has complex shades which work well with the colors in the room. Has the appearance of a more expensive tile.
Con's - We ordered 700 sq ft. It came in 3 different lot numbers. We noticed that the different lot numbers were 3/16 different in size which is enough to through out the pattern. Then sorted the boxes by lot. However, even within a lot there 1/8 inch size variation. Ended up measuring every box of tile. A few tiles were badly cupped by about 1/8 inch, enough to show a lip.
Overall installing this tile will test your skill and planning and ability to sort tiles by size. Don't use too small of a grout joint because of the variation in size.
I would have given it a higher rating except for the size variations

DO NOT BUY! tiles different sizes in same box!I bought 20 cases of this ceramic tile- started mudding and setting the tile- only to find a major variation in tile size! tile sizes ranging from 11 3/4 to 11 5/8" - of course I was many rows in before coming to a smaller tile that I had already applied mud to and set on the wall. I had no choice but to pull the tile off the wall and stagger the grout lines! Unbelievable! as you can see in the photo I posted- I also noticed MOST of the tiles also have a "cupping" effect- was a total nightmare trying to keep the grout lines equal and linear. do yourself a favor- either buy a better tile or buy quality tile from a tile manufacturer! This product is horrible!
