I used this tile for a floor of a shower recently installed, and am happy with the overall result...
I used this tile for a floor of a shower recently installed, and am happy with the overall results. However, I had to hand pick several dots off every sheet due to imperfections. Some "penny rounds" had spurs, incomplete glazing, or nips in the edges. I purchased 2 boxes (20 sheets). On average, I picked off 4-5 tiles from each sheet. I did this before my installer arrived as I'm not sure most installers would take the time to do that. My professional installer did not have any complaints except that the tiles along the edges were pushed too close together and had to be spread out as they were laid to maintain consistent grout lines. For grout I used Mapei's silver which is just slightly lighter than the tile color (and was consistent with a different tile floor outside the shower), but I think it would also look good w/ a light grout for higher contrast.
