Just bought enough to cover 800 square feet, and am giving it a 3-star rating for the following reasons:
Number 1, it is advertised as "click lock." It is NOT click lock; it has a simple tongue-and-groove connection, and needs to be glued to hold planks in place. This significantly adds to the installation time, and, therefore, the cost.
Number 2, the color is WAY off both the online images AND the actual samples I took home. It was quite a shock to open the boxes and find that not only was the color significantly different from my samples, but the color from plank to plank varies a GREAT deal. Some boards are a dark, charcoal grey color, some are a light pinkish color, and others in between. Not what my husband and I had expected. That said, I think we will like it once it has been installed, and look forward to seeing the whole house done.
I would like to recommend the product, but only if the advertising is corrected to reflect the truth.

Love the look and ease of installation!
I installed this flooring about a year ago and decided to wait to leave a review. I purchased it because I liked the idea of having a plywood(stable) substrate, how the distressed finish looked, and the wide plank. I still love the stuff but I think it is for certain situations and mine would not be one. I installed it in my living room dinning area which gets the most traffic in the house, including my 65 lb dog. The dog easily scratches the finish but being it is a distressed look I can easily repair it with a black marker and some poly. The biggest con I have found with it so far is that the veneer will separate from the plywood substrate if too much water is allowed to set on the wood. When washing make sure to use as little water as possible, also if you have a dog and they have an accident on it you best be home to clean it up right away. I have spots in my floor that cannot be repaired because of the veneer separation but I knew this could be a problem when I installed it. All in all I think this product would be great in a none animal homes or rooms that do not see a lot of traffic.

Awesome Flooring (just two issues)
We love the flooring and as a result of the design change it was even easier to install than it was the first time we used the product. This was the issue though. We laid this floor in a room about 2 years ago and loved it so much we decided to continue it through the next room. We ordered the materials and it was only then that we detected a design change. The flooring would join the existing flooring on the long edge but the end joint design would not allow us to use leftover material from the previous work in the same run (end to end) with the new material. This resulted in the loss of use for a few left over boards. Also about 4 pc (8 feet approximately) of the new material spanning 9 boxes were damaged to the point of unusable. We still love the flooring and would have went ahead even if we had known these things in advance but it would have been nice to know.

Beautiful addition to our home. We love it!!
I installed this distressed finish hardwood floor in my kitchen and breakfast nook about 2 years ago. Last year, I purchased more and installed it in my main bath and hallway. My most recent purchase was to extend it into one of the bedrooms. The distressed finish adds so much texture and beauty to the room, and it hides the fact that I may not have cleaned in a few days (or weeks). It's gorgeous, and I get many, many compliments on it's beauty.

What a difference a new hardwood floor makes!
Twenty years ago we installed an engineered oak floor during a remodel. We saw exactly what we liked and were willing to pay more for the knots and twists and turns in the wood grain. Much to our surprise, we were looking at the lowest cost, cabin grade (seconds or thirds) flooring. After my father (a retired carpenter) and I installed it ourselves, we admired our handy work. The complements we received for the gorgeous detailing in the floor made us quite proud we choose the highly figured wood.
Now living in a new home, we went looking for something similar to replace the carpet in our main entertaining areas. We found exactly what we wanted a Home Depot, a floor especially designed for HD by Bruce. Highly figured, distressed, micro-beveled, and a beautiful ‘gunstock’ color. 600 square feet of this new flooring is now going down. It really complements our golden oak antiques and the leather couches. We decided to glue it down rather than ‘floating’ it, because we like the sound of real hardwood floors without the echo and the give underfoot of the non-glued technique. We chose the tongue and groove boards, rather than the snap type, so I can replace one damaged plank without having to remove more than one board.
I am sure our friends will again be ooh-ing and ahh-ing our choice of real, hardwood over the similarly priced laminate. Thank you Home Depot and Bruce for offering this exceptional product at an exceptional price.

It was easy to order and sent to me on time. I loved the floor I installed 7 to 8 years ago so I ordered the same thing. This batch was not of the same quality. The edges and joints where splintered and rough and unfinished.

Nice distressed flooring
we did and extra guest bedroom and it came out great. The floor has gotten many compliments. We were nervous buying online as we ready had no idea what the floor would look like other than the small online photo. It came out better than I had thought.
