Love the look and feel of my new floor!
The only thing I have a comment about is shoe molding and transition pieces should be made available for all colors of this flooring. I had to purchase two of the expensive stair nose molding in the antique finish that my floor man had to cut down and modify to use for the wood to tile transition and I purchased two of the only other transition piece available in the antique finish for my floor man to cut down and modify to use for the wood to carpet transition...there was a lot of waste of materials and money to get the proper transition look...did not want to use other mismatched wood or metal transition as it would cheapen the whole look of the floor. The stair nose had to be ordered three times because when received, it was cracked/busted on one end...third time was a charm. Also the last six inches on the ends of the stair nose and other transition piece was wasted as it was where the pattern started again with a line and it didn't look good, so if there is a way to not have the pattern start again in the pieces, it'd be great.

Cheap, dull, repetitive, and not as advertisedI installed this floor myself in the master bedroom and loved it. Now I order it again and the floor I receive is abysmal! All the variety is gone. Neither the color nor the scratch marks match the old floor or the pictures shown online. Yes, I ordered the exact same thing, same model number, maker, everything. I even have an old box to compare it with. This floor had none of the vibrant variegation and natural look of the other. No matter how I stagger them, the same three marks are double stamped on every single board with little to no variety at all. It looks cheap, dull, more repetitive than vinyl tiles, and I could not be more frustrated after opening all my boxes to find this. I would have saved money and bought the Home Developers if the Home Legend wasn't going to be made the same and match what is advertised, and what I received before.

Looks GreatGlad we got this floor, only problem it scratches very easy with anything that doesn't have a piece of felt under. It's real easy to hide imperfections because the wood has a distressed look, so all it took was a furniture pen and adds more distress. Just know that it is dark wood so dust and everything else shows up on it.

Looks beautiful, easy to installMy husband was out of town, so I installed this flooring by myself. It was easy to install and I had no problems. I put it in a 11x12 bedroom and it only took me a few hours to complete. It looks beautiful and I'm planning on using this flooring in more room in the near future.

Looks amazing for the money!!!!Talked to many people in the renovation business, so I got a lot of tips, and the best one is...don't scrimp on the backing you use under the wood. Makes a BIG difference. I bought the most expensive, with moisture guard...this beautiful floor went into my 1924 ,bathroom. I can't believe how much I LOVE it. I usually have to spend a lot more money, on the improvement upgrades!!! The only negative thing about them, is my contractor said it is hard on the saw blade. I plan on putting it in many more area's through-out the house.

Big bang for the buck!This flooring exudes the look of a much more expensive product, and is easy to install. Minimal damaged/off color pieces. Best bet on shoe molding and threshholds is to stain to match.

Love this floor!The install went very quickly with little waste of wood. We used 15 boxes and had one piece of wood that was irregular. The wood is very hard so by the time we were finished the saw blades were crying UNCLE. We are very pleased with the floor and expect it to hold up very well. We would highly recommend this type of flooring. Well worth the extra money. This is a floating install but with the felt underlayment it is very quiet to walk on.
