Moso bamboo is twice as hard as domestic oak and is extremely durable and resistant to indentations. Coupled with a tough 13-coat aluminum oxide finish, Islander solid strand bamboo flooring is rated for commercial and residential use. Maintenance is a snap using “off the shelf” cleaning products recommended for use with prefinished floors. Islander solid strand flooring is also among today’s most eco-conscience building products. The Islander Carbonized Bamboo flooring was exactly what I was looking for. Looks great and installed easily. Needed a hardwood flooring that can stand up to my 5 year old lab. Installed in a 14'x18' family room in 2 days.
