Pros: solid wood, overall color/appearance
Cons: mfg quality control, many locking edges had knot holes and broken/cracked lips, uneven (gaps in boards), areas with thin finish, lots of knots on surface with fill obvious,
Really wanted this product to work, had some concerns due to other negative reviews on this site. Loved the idea of a solid wood click-lock product to DIY, so I went ahead and bought enough for 950 sq. ft.
Acclimated for over a week, opened 7 boxes (primarily 6 different lengths) to start laying on Floor Muffler underlayment. By the time I got about 80 sq ft laid, I stopped due to problems referenced above. The section that was laid looked great from a distance, but up close, issues were noticeable. Had to set aside too many boards with bad locking edges.
Bottom line: great idea, poor quality control

My husband and I have been looking for new flooring for our den, living room and dining room for more than 3 years. The wood grain is so detailed and the stain is perfect for our traditional style of house.
We looked at a every kind of flooring. But always came back to solid hardwood.
After finding this flooring online only, I was unable to located a sample in store or online. So I reached out to the manufacturer in FL. They were able to send me a sample. We placed the order the very same day we received the sample. The order was suppose to arrive in 7 to 10 days. It arrived in store in 3 days.
Our contractor was able to install almost 600 sq ft in one day.
He said it went down very easy with very little waste. Less than 2%. He was very impressed with the flooring all together.
My only regret is that we didn't do it sooner. I like it so much I wish I could talk my husband into doing all of our bedrooms next.

Worst floor EVERI bought 2200 sq ft of this crap. I had it delivered, let it acclimate to my house, and then my installer tried to lay it. The floor was milled incorrectly in China. I called the "manufacturer" in FL who proceeded to tell me about how wood flooring expands and contracts with humidity changes. Yes it does, but a piece if wood doesn't go from 4.75" on one end and expand to 5.125" on the other end in less than a 2 foot span. Some of the pieces were bowed We opened 10 of the 143 boxes I bought and it was milled incorrectly. Not all of it, but at least 40%. You can't lay wood flooring that is uneven, bowed either convex or concave, and wider on one end than the other. The flooring is beautiful, but worthless, buyer beware, I have read good and bad reviews, so take your chances if you want to. Thank God Home Depot took the flooring back.

Don’t wast your moneyDO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! This floor looks great and installs easily. After install, within months the boards all shrunk and we had gapping inches wide, and locking mechanisms didn’t work. The manufacturer sent someone out to inspect and said there wasn’t enough humidity in the house. We put a whole house humidifier in the house. Laid the floor again to their instructions. Now the floor is buckling, cupping, the knots are peeling. We have this in almost our WHOLE house. Extremely frustrating and I just want my money back.

The ability of this flooring to float is blocked by the need to have a permanent opening for a floor vent that cannot float with the flooring. In a lower humidity environment, such as northern Nevada, the flooring will greatly shrink width-wise and not expand to the original width. The instructions tell you it's not necessary to open the packaging and let the wood acclimate to the environment of your home. I would let the wood acclimate for several weeks before putting it down for good if you are in a lower humidity environment. Do not glue or nail any of this product down as it will completely loose its ability to float with weather changes and temperature changes in your home and leave you with a complete mess. Other than that, it looks great and is easy to install.

I bought 1400 sq.ft and 2 months later they are gone bad... these products shrink and expand so much looks really bad...... so don't waste your money.. invest into something better..Hope this helps...

This product is seriously NOT what i expected.... even when being installed over a flat even subfloor, you can still hear this floor ginch/cracking noises like if its not fully locked. (which its not since it has gaps in between) I am seriously losing my mind with this floor that was suppose to take a entire day to do and has now turned into a nightmare. Not sure if its SUPPOSE to make that noise when you walk over it but its seriously making me go crazy....
Looks good but its not worth the trouble and work.

We did 1,500sf of floor. We love the look....We did 1,500sf of floor. We love the look. Great product. The only complaint is that there were many more very short pieces than you’d expect.
