Groovy Comfortable Wood Grain Mats have the look of hardwood but are soft, comfortable, lightweight and portable. They are made of the same material as a flip-flop or the insole of an athletic shoe. PLEASE NOTE Pets, high heels, and abrasive materials will scratch, puncture or cut the surface. Socks and clean shoes (free of any stones or debris) are the only way to prevent damage to the surface. They can be used anywhere you want a soft or safe floor such as exercise areas, play rooms, basements, bedrooms and much more. Not recommended for outdoor use as they will fade in the sun. You can create any size area for any space in minutes.

LOVE these mats
We have five squares of these in our kitchen for a long counter and they are Wonderful! They blend in with our floor. I did Not want several individual mats for the sink and food prep work area, so to have One long one is very nice padding underfoot. Everyone who comes over has commented on what a great idea that is.
We've had them three years now and they have held up nicely for just my husband and I (no kids or pets). I make sure not to set chairs, stepstools or anything on them that would puncture them. The edges are wearing a bit and the foam outgasses enough to yellow the polyurethane finish on the floor, which is only noticeable when I move the pieces to sweep crumbs. Not a big deal to me.
The pieces themselves wipe clean easily and we have not had any problems with water/coffee drips or other food stains.
LOVE them. At this price, I'm ready to get another set.

Perfect for home gym
We ordered these mats to protect tile in our home gym. The mats are thick and very attractive and protect the floor well. We opted for the light color, not only because it blends well with the tile, but to minimize the appearance of any scratches and marks it might get in in a home gym setting. The mats were relatively easy to cut to size so we have wall-to-wall matting that looks like wood flooring.

The flooring looks good initially and is easy to use. But, this flooring is very soft foam and would only work in an area that is no shoes and nothing heavy on it. Anything heavy on it will smash it down and possible puncture the surface. I would not recommend this for any high traffic area or any area where shoes will be worn....socks only. I returned it before laying it down.

The floor gets damaged extremely easily. It's advertised as being a rubber floor when in fact, it's made of foam. Very easily gets skid marks as well as indentations that takes off the "wood look" coating.

Some of the wood-grain mats had gray splatters across them, as though paint had been spilled on them at the factory. Unfortunately this made a number of the mats in our package unusable.
