Gorgeous imitation slate
If you want a slate look without the price, this is definitely the tile to get. I installed over 300 sf throughout my kitchen & dining room. We've lost count of all the complimentary remarks we've received. Many people's first question is, "Is it slate?" It's also very durable, with no chipping or cracking despite moving & stacking several times.
There is a tremendous amount of variation with these tiles, although sorting through them does reveal some repeated patterns. If you take the time to sort & subdivide everything before laying it down, you can achieve an impressive effect where it's nearly impossible to spot any 2 identical tiles within a 50-100 sf area.
That said, the only drawback is that there are also very light tiles that (in my opinion) don't really belong with the rest of the collection. They don't blend well with the deep slate blue/gray of the others. Since each pack of 25 tiles is a random assortment, you can't tell the exact combination of light & dark you'll get until opening it at home. (I used the light tiles underneath my kitchen appliances and in the pantry.)
