The maple chocolate color looks amazing however the resistance of these floors is BAD. They will not last long if someone drop a glass of water, I wish this company will improve this aspect for the quality of the floors, mine only last 2 years very dissapointed now I will get luxurious vinyl floors water resistance.

I've been putting it up with it for too long now. Do not buy it, when you try to return it you will not be refunded.

Poor Quality ControlsI had to return 30% of the product due to quality control issues. Boards warped, faded, & damaged from factory. The cardboard box that the product is sent in was inadequate and almost all top boards were damaged. This could have been avoided by simply flipping the top board over at the factory.
Because this was a special order product, my contractor had to come back to finish the floor after I reordered the product. When the new batch came in, the boards were 1/16 of an inch wider than the first batch which created more problems with installation. Fortunately, my contractor was able to work out the deficiencies, but had to put in substantially more time into the project. (Which of course added to the price of the install)
The floor looks great, but I can't believe that Home Depot sells a product with this many quality issues.
If you order this product, order at least 40% more. You do not want to deal with separate lots of this product.

Defective Boards, bulging and buckling seams...We had several contractors express we bought good flooring, after viewing what we purchased for our laminate flooring. I understood based on the reviews due to the high gloss and dark color dog hair and foot prints would be quite noticeable on the flooring. This was something I expected but was willing to overlook because I loved the color and high gloss. What I did not expect after 3 weeks was:
• Our installer (Home Depot) was only able to use 3 boards out of each box due to quality issues with each of the boards.
• The flooring to start buckling and bulging at the seams all over (1000 sq ft)
• I had one small glass of water spill on the flooring and the flooring buckled so bad it has the appearance of card board in this one particular location.
• The manufacture is now telling me due to “excessive moisture” they will not honor their warranty or return policy. Not sure what they consider “excessive moisture” and have yet to receive clarification on their definition of “excessive moisture”.
Bottom line, I would not buy this flooring even if it was the only flooring available. I was told by the installers when they came to inspect it, that the bulges were just more noticeable due to the high gloss and that’s what happens with high gloss finishes. What everyone else has mentioned is absolutely true, your boxes will be damaged, boards will be unusable, and you most definitely can see dirt, foot prints and animal hair more clearly on this type and color of flooring (I really feel you would get that however with any brand).

Beautiful...until you walk on itthis looks great until you walk on it in bare feet. it seems to show faint footprints; i have 3 kids and it looks like natural skin oils are left on the floor; pretty disappointing...

Poor quality controlOriginal purchase (one year ago) was excellent, loved it so much I went back for more but unfortunately disappointed at quality of present product.
(a) Individual board dimensions vary making installation a bit difficult.
(b) Overal poor quality laminate finish (looks cheap)
I'm comparing with previous quality (one year ago)
My advice to Bruce is original product was excellent please go back to original qualty/ manufacturer even if you have to up price.

PURE GARBAGE !!!! Looks great at first, but didn't even make it a month before it started warping...PURE GARBAGE !!!! Looks great at first, but didn't even make it a month before it started warping. Does not even hold up to dog slobber, much less if you live in an environment any more humid than the Sahara Desert. I understand the limitations with laminate, but this is atrocious. Never had a problem with any Pergo or Armstrong product under similar conditions. The boards are warped out of the box, and to fit them in, you have to do some major hammering to fit. As the floor settles, it will buckle at the edges and lift the corners. I've read through the warranty and there's no point even trying to make a claim with Bruce, because their disclaimers make it impossible to meet their replacement criteria. I've also read of people trying to make a claim to no avail. Seems that the only way Bruce will honor their warranty is if you don't ever install it or walk on it. This flooring works best left in the box on the shelf at the factory. DO NOT EVEN BOTHER WITH THIS PRODUCT !!! I'm afraid to even mop it with even the Bruce brand cleaner for fear of warping everything. Big mistake on this product.

Suitable for wall paper, maybe.Do not install this product if you expect to walk on it. The finish is extremely weak and if you walk barefoot it will show a trail. So bad we are removing it after one month. I cannot believe that anyone would sell this claiming 30 year life.
