An assortment of 1 in. x 2 in. curved strips in a herringbone pattern forms each mesh-mounted tile, exhibiting a basket-weave appearance for eye-catching visual allure. The high-sheen, smooth-finished 12 in. x 12 in. tiles from MSI add definition to any residential or commercial expanse, producing a dramatic display for backsplash and bath wall applications. Also a splendid choice for accent bands and fireplace facade, the honed white oak marble with gray tones makes a splashy statement to complement a contemporary lifestyle. Note: Inspect all tiles before installation. Natural stone products inherently lack uniformity and are subject to variation in color, shade, finish, etc. It is recommended to blend tiles from different boxes when installing. Natural stones may be characterized by dry seams and pits that are often filled. The filling can work its way out and it may be necessary to refill these voids as part of a normal maintenance procedure. All natural stone products should be sealed with a penetrating sealer. After installation, vendor disclaims any liabilities.

This tile is beautiful! However, it is VERY difficult to work with!!! Let me note that the tile is actually 12in x 13in! Our first struggle was finding sheets that had secure backing. We found that there were 2 different backings made on this product. The next hurdle was installation. Because this is groutless tile, there is no room for error - no "wiggle room" that you would have with spacers and grout. Each piece needs to fit into the next EXACTLY! This is quite a task! The cuts that went onto our quartz countertop needed to be PERFECTLY flat and PERFECTLY even. Although our cuts were exact, we still had issues because there were gaps within each tile. We needed to file down many pieces on 3 sides of many tiles to make them go together! The end result is beautiful! But if you are looking for something that is easy to install, this is not the tile for you. We have installed tile in other rooms in our home and this tile took us weeks to dry fit and install in our kitchen backsplash!

I used this tile to build a new fireplace surround and mantel. I have never tiled or used a wet ...I used this tile to build a new fireplace surround and mantel. I have never tiled or used a wet saw before this project so I have no frame of reference to tell you if it was easy to work with or difficult. The tiles cut very easily and I recommend cutting at the thickest point on the tile to minimize the amount of small bits you may have to piece back together. Since most of my cuts were linear it went pretty well. I love the end result!

Once the tiles are on the wall, they are beautiful, that being said, this is not a do-it-yoursel...Once the tiles are on the wall, they are beautiful, that being said, this is not a do-it-yourself job. The tiles fall off the backing when wet and become a puzzle that only a professional installer can complete. If not careful, the difference in color shades are obvious from sheet to sheet. I bought enough tiles to do over and under my mantle. I still had to purchase an extra 3 sheets to replace the tiles that came off sheet backings. I hired a pro to do this job, and it is a beautiful one-of-a-kind fireplace surround now that it is complete!

The minute it gets wet in your tile saw it releases from the backing and you have a pile of tiles! The store won't stand behind it either. Their answer is to bring it back before you try to cut it. Really? So bring it back before I know it is defective? Answer #2 is to call the manufacturer. I did that and got routed to 15 people in some shady call center in India and got absolutely nowhere. Save your time the trouble and money. Home Depot just lost a customer over this fiasco.

This is one of the most beautiful stone mosaic tiles...This is one of the most beautiful stone mosaic tiles you will find for the price.
With a honed finish, smooth and compact enough not to need grout, these look really beautiful surrounding our fireplace.
I've got only one thing to complain about and it's that pieces on corners can come off easily
