It's a particularly good choice for kitchens and bathrooms because it's easy to clean and doesn't harbor germs. Plus, it's incredibly durable and impervious to water and stain penetration. Use this large stone look tile on floors, countertops and backsplashes - or to create a stunning feature wall. The choice is yours and the possibilities are endless. This is a rectified tile, mechanically finished on all sides to achieve uniformity. Its precise sizing allows for a thinner grout joint, which results in a clean, professional install and reduces staining issues.

- Slip-resistance/C.O.F. rating of 0.50 both wet and dry is marginally skid resistant, appropriate for indoor or some outdoor applications

NOTE: this tile can ONLY be installed in a "STACK BOND" pattern (that is one tile above the other...NOTE: this tile can ONLY be installed in a "STACK BOND" pattern (that is one tile above the other) it is actually "bowed" ever so little in the middle, yet bowed enough that it does not install in the usual "RUNNING BOND" pattern (with staggered tile lines). This should really be noted on the purchase offering page, not everybody reads through these comments. My men are currently installing the tiles for me and when they asked, I just said to put the tiles in a running bond because that was what I was accustomed to. . .and they did try. . .but eventually had to tell me that it was not going to work.

Looks nice but it does bow in the middle making it impossible to offset 15-30% as recommended. We...Looks nice but it does bow in the middle making it impossible to offset 15-30% as recommended. We are not beginners and we have spent hours on Christmas Day laying only 20 tiles and absolutely cannot get the tiles to mesh when offset/staggered. I just came to HomeDepot.com and am learning from previous reviews. Shame on manufacturer for recommending a stagger with a consistently un-leveled product.
