This floor is poor quality. I purchased 700 ft, hired a reputable experience contractor to install it. Installed 3/17 and the floor has numerous scratches, chips and difficult to remove scuff marks, with new chips happening every day. I live with all adults and we don't even wear shoes in the house! I contacted the manufacturer who blamed it on the contractor and told me to buy a "touch up marker' to cover exposed raw wood. Do not buy this product. You will be sorry. As another reviewer stated "don't be fooled". I wish I would have seen his review before purchasing. If there was a rating of "0" stars, that's what I would have chosen instead of one.

Don't be fooled!!
The pictures look nothing like the actual product, and for the price of this hardwood, you can certainly get better quality.
I have started installing this floor and Im about 1/3 of the way finished. I already have almost an entire box of defected planks. At this rate I most certainly won't have enough to finish the job. Everything from the finish cracking and literally peeling away from the board, to lots of splintering and cracks on the end. The "Red Oak" hardwood is anything but that. You may receive 1 nice solid piece of oak plank out of every 8-10 boards. The rest is as soft as pine. As if it was just very low quality trees mixed in. It is the slowest floor install I have ever done in my entire career of almost 30 years in the business. Reason being that you have to very carefully inspect each and every plank closely to be certain that there are no defects. I have had to pull up a number of boards after nailing down because of cracking. I allowed more than enough time for acclimation period, Almost 2 weeks! Checking carefully with my meter for the proper humidity before beginning the install. Even with that, the boards were very poor quality for the most part, straight out of the box.
Once down, the floor looks pretty good. However, I am very nervous about the durability of the finish and the wood now because of this, and if I'll even have enough to finish. Again, I have been in the custom home building business for almost 30 years, so I am not your typical DIY'er. Trust me on this, do your homework, with your wood before you buy it. A hardwood floor should last more than a lifetime. Period!
I don't see that at all with this product.. Do yourself a favor, look at another company and a better quality red oak than what this company is putting out. Even if you have to spend a nickel more, you'll be glad you did.
Shame on you Blueridge for such a misleading ad, and such poor quality wood.
Shame on you Home Depot for not having your upper Mgt do a better job at inspecting, and staying on top of this kind of thing. Allowing a product this poor and misleading in your store is just bad business. I know you're on top in the industry, but its ok to at least act as if you still care about out your customers receiving good quality, Or at the very least, not be mislead by your vendors.

Terrible quality
There are a lot of bad boards per box. I purchased 62 cases to do my whole house. I am hoping to have enough to finish. Some of the boards are not even 5in. Just under and then if you dont realize it in time you end up with gap on the bext board. Should be pulled off the shelf.

Very squeaky
Tongue and grove connections don't fit well and there is room for the plank with the grove to move up and down and create a squeaky noise. Great look for the price but quality not so much.

Looks good but the box came with short planks, The longest pieces must have been about 36” and they were limited. Most pieces in the box were about 12 and 18”. Good material but disappointing length per plank. I may be replacing the whole floor again in 5 years because of that.
