Natural texture and appearance
Recently had this flooring installed. Very pleased with the realistic natural texture and appearance. It's the closest to natural wood we saw when viewing the samples we received and in store. I ordered a palette and a half and although there was a good variety of patters among the boxes, I feel there could have been a little more variation in the boards. My OCD aside, most people would probably find it acceptable. The warm color tone of the flooring really shows in a sun-lit room. The flooring goes well with our cherry cabinets and compliments the decor in our home. My only disappointments are that I recently dropped a closed metal box cutter on the floor and it must have hit it just right, as a small nick was taken out of the floor by the casing. Maybe I'm just expecting too much when it comes to durability. Also, there were a good number of damaged planks and manufacturing issues where the seams of some boards were higher than the others and could not be used.
Those few issues aside, we couldn't be more pleased and everyone who has seen the floor is impressed.

Great stuff so farThis laminate flooring (so far, just installed) is really amazing. I've worked with other laminate in the past and the resilience of the material is excellent, it handles great! I've accidentally done some things to the top of this floor that would have scratched the heck out of regular laminate, but didn't do a darn thing to this stuff. I can't speak to the water resistance aspects, but once my family has had a chance to live on this floor I'll be providing an update.
As to the installation, it's pretty straight forward snap and click laminate. The fitting is really tight, while making the installation take longer helps ensure the water resistant seal. I wouldn't say it's a negative at all, because you definitely know when you have the planks seated well together. It also is a much denser/stronger material than most laminates so scoring/snapping or even trimming with a razor blade is not possible (again, not a negative, just really shows that this is a good solid product).

Beautiful, Strong and Durable Flooring!!I just finished installing this flooring in my kitchen and dining room and I am very pleased with the finished result. I am a professional remodeling contractor and I have been very impressed with the interlocking system of this floor. I have installed many other laminate floors that were much weaker and didn't provide the positive lock that this floor does.
If you simply keep a scrap block of flooring with you during installation and use it as a tapping block to drive the joints together, the floor is really quite easy to install and provides a great water-tight lock.
As for the appearance, I love the embossed grooves and knots, which gives it the feel and appearance of real wood. Also, the sheen of the flooring is more moderate and doesn't have the super high glossy appearance of some cheaper laminates.
Overall, I am very impressed with the flooring and I would definitely purchase it again in the future.

Over a Year Later, Still Love it!This flooring is so much better quality than our previous laminate, which was among the highest priced options when we had it installed 8 years ago. Our old floor had boards warp within the first year, a result of having multiple animals with water bowls and accidents. We have yet to have any issues with the Pergo Outlast. Actually, strike that... the only issue has been a trim piece where the Pergo meets a tile floor. The trim piece seems to have broken/smashed from people walking on it, and now a gap has developed between it and the Pergo floor boards. Honestly, it's not a big enough deal for me replace the trim piece, though, which would be cheap and easy to do. Everyone who comes over gives us compliments on our Pergo. I am so happy we went with this option, and the Marigold Oak color. The color fits our style - more beachy, casual, lighthearted... less stuffy, rigid, formal.

I installed this floor in a rental. It looks absolutely amazing. After the floor was installed,...I installed this floor in a rental. It looks absolutely amazing. After the floor was installed, I placed the refrigerator in its place and left the rental. Several days later when I returned, I noticed the refrigerator had leaked and was sitting in water. I immediately removed the refrigerator and wiped down the floor. I do not know how long the refrigerator had been leaking. I was thinking I would have to replace the area under the refrigerator. But no, everything was just fine. I am sold on this product. I also installed the Vintage Pewter in another unit and the floors look amazing. I am now installing this flooring in another rental. It is the best laminate I have ever seen.

I can't say how well this product holds up since I just put it down, which is the reason I only g...I can't say how well this product holds up since I just put it down, which is the reason I only gave it three stars. I can say that it went together as well as other floors I've layed, and it looks fantastic. Due to where the floor is, and our intended use, we will not be able to take advantage of their warantee. It's supposed to be spill proof, but in order to get there, one must put backer rod and silicone all around the edges, which we're not doing.
If something does spill away from the edges, I will expect it to completely resist the spill.

Perfect Floor for Lots of AnimalsPurchased and installed this flooring in my daughter's house who owns 3 dogs, a cat and two birds. One of the dogs is elderly and constantly has mishaps on the floors. The other dog runs and slides through the house several times a day. This floor has held up to scratches, urine, vomit etc. It was easy to install and looks gorgeous. The color is not too light and not too dark. Brightens up a dark house. Thinking of installing this in my own house.

I wanted to make sure that I leave a comment on the Pergo Outlast +. Of the color choices, I think the Marigold Oak is really the nicest. I had it installed throughout the apartment. After several months, it still looks beautiful and cleans easily. My contractor said it was a quick and easy install. Great choice for laminate.
