We had the LVP installed by a professional who wanted to put down a generic reducer strip. I didn't think it was a good match to the flooring. Instead, I ordered the reducer strip in the rustic maple honeytone which was what the floor is. I like it much better, it's a perfect match. The 4 star rating is because the metal strip on the back of the reducer was too shallow. We had to use the metal strips from the reducer strip the installer wanted to use. The difference in our adjoining floors was not perfectly level. It ran anywhere from 1/8 inch to 1/4 inch. The reducer I ordered from HD only accommodated about 1/8 inch. The reducer from the generic strip would accommodate at least 1/4 inch difference in floor heights. That of course means I had to pay for both strips since I used a part of both of them.
I hope this makes sense. Overall I love the flooring in our new sunroom. It looks great!

Does the job nicely. Matches flooring perfectly.In the end it looks like a professional installation, though done by an amateur.
A little difficult to install according to directions, but I improvised another method and it seems to be fine. Every situation is different, so it's unlikely that a "one size fits all" installation method is feasible.
