Not a true "sample"
The description of this item is false. This is not a smaller version of a full inlay. Indeed it is a 5" piece of each type of wood used in the inlay. 3 scrape pieces of wood is definitely not worth $10. Any flooring store would give you this for free. To Homedepot's credit, when I confronted them with this issue they refunded my money despite the fact that the "sample" was listed as nonreturnable. They promised to update the listing to make clear exactly what "sample" means. Has not yet happened.
