we purchased 13 boxes of this wood flooring product. Many of the boxes were primarily short (bet...we purchased 13 boxes of this wood flooring product. Many of the boxes were primarily short (between 6" and 12" pieces which made installation that much longer to do. I know we were told to allow 10% for waste. In are case it was probably closer to 15 to almost 20%, because many of the boards had imperfections that we could not use in the main bedroom. It was fortunate for us that we had a large closet in the bedroom we were flooring, so we were able to use many of the very small pieces of flooring and the imperfect (large knot holes, "worm holes", very rough edges, etc., etc) boards in that large closet.
Even though this flooring is a close match to the main hallways in the house, I'm not sure we will ever use this product again
You cannot see all the many imperfections in the attached two photos because they are not close-ups of the issues described above.

Not worth the costThis is a small sample, and the product I received wasn't in great shape (just OK shape). If I had realized ahead of time that they sell small samples at the store (Lowe's for 25 cents per sample), I definitely would not have purchased this product for $10.00.
