Really Pretty but not true white
Finally got install this tile. I used it in a kitchen back splash. It looks really nice and I'm prowd of it. The tile was easy to cut with a wet saw and installed with little hassle. However, I lowered it one star because the tile actually has a blue tint to it that was not that noticeable until installed. I wanted something whiter, but I will just have to settle for this. Luckily the other main color I'm using is blue, so it doesn't look too off. The grout is white, so you can really tell the difference. If you are using, other colors and need rea white, I would elsewhere.

gorgeous glass tile! This glass tile and highlight tile is gorgeous installed! Has a blue-ish tint to it even though it is a white paint on the back because of the glass. Gives it nice depth. The opalescent highlight tile is from the Home Depot as well and gave our kitchen back splash a great finished appearance. Glass tile is tough to cut. you are going to want a wet saw or professional tiler. Do not forget to use unsanded grout, or your tile will get scratched! LOVE this tile. Since this was an internet only purchase, I ordered a 1 square foot sample first so I could see it in my kitchen. Was delivered packed in very good bubble wrap to keep it from breaking. The final large tile order I had shipped direct to the store to save on shipping costs. Was super simple, got a text message when it was ready to pick it up!

Merola Ice White Glas Tile - Full ReviewI looked at brilliant White (Ice, Cloud, etc) Glass Tiles from lots of manufactures for months. I ultimately chose Merola (Home Depot Tessera Ice White) because of the low price. Similar glass tiles are typically priced between $15-$20 per SQF. My coverage area was approx 60 SQF so the savings added up quickly. I used the tiles to go 48 inches up my bathroom walls (see pictures).
What you need to know is that Merola's Quality Control (QC) is absolutely terrible. Each box of 8 tiles would have at least 2 tiles that were deformed - never broken, cracked or shattered. But rather a corner would have a severe air pocket, one of the edges would be shaved off, a corner would be rounded off instead of square, etc. I went through every box and inspected each individual tile and had to return / exchange approx 25% of the tiles, which was time consuming, frustrating and totally unacceptable. The more expensive glass tiles, particularly the $20 manufacturer, clearly had straighter edges and more square corners, but the color (whiteness) of the glass was no different. So in this instance, you get what you pay for.
My bathroom now looks very clean, sleek and modern. Would it look even better with the more expensive white glass tiles? I'm almost certain I would be able to notice a difference regarding lines and symmetry, but the average house guest probably would not be able to tell a difference (I'm really particular).
I can recommend Merola Glass Tiles if you're willing to inspect every box and return the abnormal tiles. If you don't take the time to go through this process, your contractor most likely wont either and I suspect you'll be really disappointed with the finished project.
Hope my detailed review / experience will help you with your decision.

Clean lines with a modern decor.White glass tiles were what I was looking for in size and contrast to use with the white porcelain subway tiles. The glass tiles appear to cast a blue / white look.

And unlike one reviewer said, it does not look blue when installed. It will reflect of course any colors or grout you use. So if your grout is white and your countertops are mostly white so will the glass tiles be white. I can't speak highly enough of this look. We have mahogany cabinets and Alaska White stone countertops and it looks fabulous with these ice white tiles.

Good Product - ButPurchased this item as a sample. I liked it very much, decided to go with it. However, found it on line somewhere else at a price that was 49% less than HD, $.089 per piece. Could not determine if it was the same manufacturer. However, appearance and quality wise, it was very much alike.
