Great help for DIY tile setter
Just used these this past weekend to tile our laundry room. The subfloor wasn't perfect but it's a basement laundry room so I'm ok with a little imperfection. Using this level set however helped to eliminate much of the imperfections transferring through to the tile floor.
The box contains everything you'll need to start, however if you have a big job get some extra straps in case you break any. After smearing the adhesive and gently placing the tile, I then slid the strap underneath before putting pressure on the tile and really setting it. Then lay the next tile. Once the tiles are where you want, slide the cup over and use the pliers to tighten and even the adjacent tiles.
Overall it made the visible portion of my job look great. My washer/dryer will be on the middle and right side of the platform (see pic), and there were a couple spots under there that didn't come out great. The floor imperfections were too much for the level set to overcome, however, the left 1/3 of the platform came out great though.
They were very easy to use, pretty self explanatory, and helped make a tedious task a little less tedious.

I've used several tile leveling systems so far and this has been my favorite. In short, you place the strap behind the tile, slide the cup onto the strap, and use the included pliers to tighten until the tile face is flat. It goes quickly and the results are awesome.
Going a bit behind the scenes, it's important to follow the directions and actually soak the straps for between 30 and 120 minutes. That makes them more pliable which means you can tension them without risk of breakage. Once the thinset dries the straps are also dry and are more brittle, which means you can easily use the pliers to snap off the straps with a quick squeeze. If you skip this soaking step the straps will be brittle when you install them and you need to be extra careful not to break them when tensioning. It's not really a hassle as you can easily fill the bucket they come in with water right before mixing your thinset and you're good to go.
I used this to install marble tile, which is particularly susceptible to scratching. The systems that use wedges will scratch marble as the wedge drags across the face under pressure during tensioning. I also used the twist cap system, which is pretty good but also risked some scratching. Also, if you twist the caps too much you twist the spacer itself and through the spacing off. With the Rubi system there's no risk of that.
Another positive of the Rubi system is that the straps have a backer which is pretty thin. That means it doesn't force you to have a large amount of thinset on the back of the tile like the LASH system I used on another project. The backer for the strap seemed to pull nicely on all the tiles it touched and gave a good, even cinch.
My only complaint is that I haven't found the straps available locally. That means you have to plan carefully before you project to make sure you don't run out. I'd really like if Home Depot stocked these in the stores as they're easy to use and you can go through a lot of straps quickly.

This level system does work. WAY better than the lash system which is total junk. The straps are expendable but the cups are re-usable. Just remember to not try to crank down on the pliers as it will snap them off.
These level systems to not replace proper floor/wall prep but do aid in lippage issues. If your floor/wall is wavy/uneven you will still need to float/level the floor/wall properly before setting tile. Tile setting is not for the average DIY person like what tv shows make people think. There are a lot of steps, tricks, techniques involved to have that gorgeous tile job people think about.

This Tile Level kit is a great product i used it to in stall an 18 x 36 on a broken joint pattern the floor came out perfect the system is easy to use and is a time saver and the caps are reusable
on the next job.
I would recommend this to any one that wants their floor to be flat.
I would recommend practicing with the tension on the straps a few times first just to get use to how much pressure you need before breaking the strap it is easier to do this on dry tile than trying to get the strap back under the tile that has setting material under it.

Total junk
I bought this kit to level my 6 x 24 in wood look tiles. I will not use them again. Job not finished yet and will switch to another form of leveling system. The problem is, the part that goes under the tile breaks before they tighten down the tiles enough. Total waste of money and not to mention the work that has to happen to replace the broken piece.
