Just my opinion. I've installed more than 50+ wood floors, nail-down, glue-together and a few "click" floors like this.
Garbarge. Very difficult to align with the zero gaps as would be appropriate.
Chips easily during any adjustments. Then...
Like a golden light pulling us up out of the nether world and after taking back 35 boxes to HD we found the (laminate) bamboo flooring for .50/sq ft more ($1.99 per sq ft vs about 1.49).
Wow. Goes down like a dream, looks amazing AND though it's a laminate it's still real bamboo on the surface and real plywood on the bottom (very thin) and not just a formica picture of wood.
I don't mind the Pergo-type effect. I do mind super-shabby, difficult-to-assemble floors.
It seems a lot of people like this floor and I'm happy to see that. As a died-in-the-wool installer I think it's worth knowing my experience.
Please love my experience. Hahaha. Seriously, wishing you all well whichever floor you choose.

not as good as i expected for its cost...not as good as i expected for its cost ..looks good tho but material is poor quality , had to return part of unused laminate to purchase another laminate that was better grade but at equal cost to finish the other rooms .

this flooring is just gorgeous, great value for the price point.this is so pretty for a laminate floor. installed over the weekend in our camp and it looks better than our maple kitchen floors at home. the only issue is that it is quite slippery for the dog, she just flies across the floor and I am somewhat worried about her injuring herself while chasing kids or cats.

I had difficulty installing. Little pieces of the tongue/end would break off and get in the groo...I had difficulty installing. Little pieces of the tongue/end would break off and get in the grooves making installation difficult. If you need to take boards apart, the tongue breaks off. Board damaged easily when tapping ends together with the block. Took a long time.
Poor quality - boards printed on the pieces were slightly different widths (off 1/32"), though the overall board was the same width.
Tips - rub the grooves with wax paper so they slide easier. Vacuum out every groove right before installing. Buy another product.

Looks AwesomeTook 2 full days to put down 360 sq.feet., in an uneven basement floor with different angled walls and 4 doors to work around.
From the start, the planks do not go together very easily like the small samples do you get at Home Depot. But, after they finally go together and the project is done, they flooring looks amazing! My wife loves it. My kids def. love it. And I love the design that this flooring offers.
I had a few uneven spots, so I put some small sections of added padding under those areas. Works great.
Now I'm thinking of doing the entire LR and DR.

great laminate for the price and looks awsome. why pay more? heasy to use too.just installed this new flooring. came out great and the price was right. did a 500 sqft basemane for about $750. definatley spend a little more on a good pad. and also by the install kit it will save your life!!. the floor needs to be very level but other than that it was snap...lol easy to use and cut with a arm saw. Thanks again HD Brewster.

While this was exactly the color etc we wanted, it was horrible to try to install, I struggled fo...While this was exactly the color etc we wanted, it was horrible to try to install, I struggled for hours to get just a quarter of the job done since the boards just wouldn't lock together and the tongues kept breaking. This is not due to inexperience on my part since I have installed laminate in all of the rest of the rooms of our home as well as helping some friends with theirs. The last floor I installed was Pergo and you get what you pay for. I shouldn't have even tried to use a cheaper product. I returned this and the positive there is that Home Depot did refund.

I see people complaining on here and think it can only be because they don't know how to install laminate? We have used multiple installers and none have said anything bad about it. Honestly we have been using this particular Toasted Spalted Maple for probably 6 to 8 years and it really holds up well. If it gets scratched, the underneath is basically the same color so its not noticeable. With tenants, thats important. And it doesn't have bevel edges to catch dirt or ripple up when it gets wet. If we install this in the first room a tenant sees, it sells the apartment on the first showing. Everyone comments on how much they love it.
