This durable prefinished engineered click real wood floor is easy to install, simply engage the long sides at an angle and rotate down. The flooring is crafted of five layers of solid wood permanently bonded together in a cross-ply design. No HDF or other fiber boards are utilized. The stability of this construction provides superior strength, humidity resistance and multiple installation locations (suitable for upper floors, ground floors and below grade). The aluminum oxide finish provides more abrasion resistance than ordinary urethane finishes. Vintage floors may contain naturally occurring light and dark wood colors plus grain variations. Our company has been crafting wood floors of exceptional quality for over 115 years. This floor is safe for your home and exceeds CARB Phase II and FloorScore Air Quality Requirements plus qualifies for LEEDS points.

The reason for 3 stars is that there are 3 or 4 RIGHT hand starter pieces in each box. End pieces are pointless and a waste since you need to randomize the rows at the start to get the correct effect. ALL pieces should instead be beveled on each end. There were also several pieces that had no beveling at all. There is 1 or 2 sq. ft. of unusable planks in each box because of this.

I ordered a case of Toasted Maple and Gilded Maple to figure out which color would work best for me. The Toasted Maple came fine but they sent me Midnight (black color) instead of Gilded Maple in a box labeled Gilded Maple so I returned those and ordered Gilded Maple again and the next time it seems they put Toasted Maple planks in the Gilded Maple box as it was a very dull brown - nowhere even close to the orangish tinge in the picture. The box also came open on one side showing poor packaging. I don't know if they have Gilded Maple planks as in the picture or if the picture is just incorrect but I do know they sent the wrong color with the right label the first time around and an open box the second time. Also they have no expedited shipping so ended up wasting couple of weeks just to get a sample case. Their price point is decent and color selection somewhat unique but given the color and packaging problems I wouldn't risk a large order with this supplier.

The five cases that I purchased contained 11 boards that...The five cases that I purchased contained 11 boards that were unusable. Some had cracked vaneer and some had finish flaws. I sent them back for replacement, and the replacements contained 1 board with defective finish. Overall, much worse quality than the same flooring I installed a few years ago

Unique shade but inconsistent millingLiked "frosted" shade and uniform coloring of planks. Disliked lack of exact 90 degree angles between long and short edges of some of the planks. Also, some pairs of planks would not stay flat after being clicked together. Luckily, Home Depot has a great return policy.

I purchased this flooring and had it installed about eight months ago. All went well. Now that it...I purchased this flooring and had it installed about eight months ago. All went well. Now that it has been down for lease than a year I find the flooring scratches very easy and the flooring fades.
I put down a rug at the doors for protection going in from outside. I lifted the rug to clean and found found the floor around it was a different color. I guess the only way to fix this is to take up the rugs and hope the floor color will change to the new color. I had reached this quite a bit and knew that maple floors are used on basketball courts and thought maple would withstand a lot of
abuse. I very unhappy that within less than a year I'm experiencing such poor wear.

Product was great!!! Home Depot was terrible!!The flooring was pretty good and I was able to install it relatively easy.
