Pergo XP Alexandria Walnut offers an ultra-realistic wood grain finish with premium attached underlayment and PermaMax surface protection for double the wear, double the durability of ordinary laminates. ScratchGuard Advanced provides superior scratch and scuff protection. XP is an AC4 rated product, approved for general commercial traffic; suitable for your home, office, or other light commercial applications such as boutiques and hotel rooms. This rating was designated after being tested for resistance to abrasion, impact, staining and cigarette burns. Each plank is 10 mm thick with a 2 mm attached underlayment and 4-7/8 in. wide x 47-7/8 in. long. Easy to install, patented Perfect Fold joint for a quick and secure installation. Our limited lifetime residential and 5 year light commercial warranty guarantees the floor will not wear, stain or fade. High style made simple. There's only one Pergo. Be careful of spills on this floor...
This product was installed for us and went down easy, our two dogs can't scratch it and it looked great for about two months. There seems to be something wrong that we maybe should have seen in the store, but the small cut-up samples HD gives out did not help us there.
The floor, unlike other Pergo we have had over the years, is NOT of the same quality. Water does permeate this floor. The beveled edges that we feel in love with and help it feel like a real floor, are way too undercoated with the 'plastic' protection layer and way too close to the sub floor. We quickly discovered that dampness, even when damp mopping with recommended products, will get into the sunken edges and quickly be absorbed by the underlayment material on the boards.
We are not happy, and the Pergo company reminds us to check their website, as they do not guarantee against water damage. Please be careful where you install this and watch it like a hawk. The boards will warp up on the edges of the wood grain next to the bevel edges.

Best laminate I ever installed.Though I only installed about 3000 Sq FT in my life, this is the best 350 sf I ever installed. The floor is solid and thick, almost like hardwood ! I was very surprised. Easy to install but as all with all laminates, the floor better be flat or things will get ugly later. Follow the instructions to the letter and you will have the closest thing to hardwood ever. Does not feel/sound like you are walking on plexi-glass as other Laminates, sounds solid. I already had real hardwood on my cart and last minute decided on this Laminate instead, glad I did. As for durability, its only been installed for one day so I can assure you it will last for one day and cant say much more on durability. It does look like it will stand up to my kids, even more destructive my wife and her furniture. Good luck and follow instructions !!!

Love this flooring!We had this laminate installed by Home Depot about 4 months ago in about 1200 square feet of our home - the whole downstairs - and could not be happier with it. It is beautiful and natural looking. It has a faux-grain texture, instead of being flat and shiny like other laminates. It also has grooves in between the boards instead of installing perfectly flat so it looks like real planks. It wears like iron (so far) - we have moved furniture, pushed chairs around, have 2 kids and a big dog, and not a single scratch. I also love that it doesn't show spots or dirt; thanks to some trick in the pattern it looks clean even when I know I have not mopped for a week. It sounds solid, not hollow, underfoot. When a friend first saw the transformation from our former wall-to-wall she said "it looks like you have added 1000 Sq ft to your house!". Really I can't recommend this laminate highly enough.

Easy to install once you get the hang of it.Comes in 9 different printed patterns. I found it easier to separate all the boards into the 9 patterns and each row I would use just one pattern or mix in another one. So every row you could in turn only see that one printed pattern every 9th row or so. Worked good for me. Also easier to click each row together all at once rather than one by one. Easy to tap each row in. Just be sure each end seem doesn't have any broken pieces left in the any seem (side or long seem) Very happy with look of floor. Compared to other pergo with 3 patterns all in one piece, these 5" planks look way better. Almost looks like real wood..........Not much waste at all. All bad pieces save for closets or areas where you will never see the flaw. i.e. chipped corners, scratched pieces from installing dropping tools on. It happens!

Happy cottageI've built 2 mtn luxury cabins and rough sawn wood floors were a given! But my retirement home is a 'new' 1930 cottage and with a big, happy and excited dog who has long toenails no matter how frequently they are clipped. Didn't want to be concerned (in my old age) about refinishing the floors, and even with many many excited greetings to the UPS driver... not a scratch to be seen. My recommendation is to go with the best... And it looks like that is Pergo XP.

"You would even say it glows"We purchased "African Coral" Pergo Laminate Flooring for our entire house 14 months ago. (Approximately 3200 square feet). My husband worked diligently to install it himself over a 2 month period. Most of it was completed for Christmas 2013. Every room has a warm feel to it, especially with all the Christmas lights on. I put up 22 large Christmas trees, 6 feet to 13 feet, plus 80 smaller trees. I never have to turn on a lamp. With the lights on all the trees and the reflection of all the lights off of the flooring... "You would even say it glows"!
We chose Pergo for the excellent ratings your laminate floor receives as your lamination process provides a luxurious warm wood look and is wonderfully durable.
We have two 75 pound Pit Bulls named Thunder and Lightning. They have not put a single scratch on it.
We love our floor and have received many compliments from family and friends as to how rich the floor looks and how much it dresses up our home.

An excellent product that met my expectations. I have...An excellent product that met my expectations. I have used Pergo previously with good results and this installation went well. Each piece must be installed precisely so don't expect a flooring project with Pergo or other laminate to be a quick job. Take your time, think through each step, measure three times and then cut precisely where needed, and take frequent breaks. This product looks great and feels great under feet.
